In the medieval times at witch hunts, the key problem for taking
innocent life’s was religious fanaticism, barbaric and primitive laws, which readily applied violence.
But mainly I would blame it to the non-scientific thoughts.
Accusations took place daily basics out of jealousy, neighbours bad
intentions or couples revenge.
This was just one easy cruel way to get rid of someone.
This painting is about an innocent mother from that times, as she hides with her child.
Both of them got falsely blamed for being witches (wasn’t true of course), and purely just because they’ve got from God an outstanding beauty that everyone envied.
In this case, it’s instead of being a blessing turned out to be frailty and got them in trouble.
In my story, they escaped and ended up having a wonderful life in a
bigger city, where they were loved.
‘Here !!quick’ !!-she said peeking out from the roots and vines made
curtain, gazing at the crowd as they were just passing by searching for them.
‘Come my child, lay low and hide! We are leaving with the high tide
tonight.
